Birstwith Barkyard Subscription – Payment Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all daycare subscriptions at Birsytwith Barkyard (“we”, “our”, “us”). By subscribing, you (“the customer”, “you”, "Clients" ) agree to the following terms regarding payment, cancellations, and attendance.

1. Subscription Pricing

• Daycare fees are charged weekly by subscription.

• Prices are:

  • 1–4 days per week: £35 per day.

  • 5 days per week: £30 per day.

  • 2 Dogs from the same household: £60

  • Ad hoc bookings: £45 per day (only available if space allows).

  • Ad hoc bookings for 2 dog households have no discount.

• Subscribers requesting an additional day on top of their plan may book at the normal subscription rate of £35 per day, not the ad hoc rate.

2. Slots, Not Attendance

• Your subscription secures a recurring slot for your dog on the chosen days.

• Payment is for the reserved slot, not actual attendance.

• If your dog does not attend daycare on a subscribed day, payment is still due, regardless of the reason.

• If you choose to cancel we cannot guarantee the slot will be available again.

3. Cancellation Policy

Clients must provide a minimum of two (2) weeks’ written notice for any permanent or temporary cancellation of a daycare slot. If sufficient notice is not provided, fees for the following two (2) weeks will remain payable, regardless of the reason for cancellation.

Upon cancellation, the reserved slot will be released and may be offered to another client. If you wish to retain your slot and guarantee availability upon your return, an optional retainer fee equal to 50% of the regular slot cost may be paid for the duration of the absence.

4. No Exceptions Policy

• These terms apply to all cancellations, without exception.

• Illness, vet appointments, injury, holidays, or other absences do not exempt payment.

• If fees are not paid, your slot will be withdrawn and offered to another customer.

• If we are unable to pickup a dog due to locked doors, blocked entrances or any other reason out of our

  control payment is still due, (Unless there is a problem on our end).

5. Payment Processing & Debt

• All payments are collected by recurring subscription through our payment processor.

• If your payment fails:

  • Daycare services will be suspended immediately.

  • Your dog cannot attend until the outstanding balance is paid in full.

  • If payment is not made, your slot may be released to another customer.

6. Agreement

By confirming your subscription, you agree to abide by these payment and cancellation terms.
